Actor Shingo Katori will appear on the NHK music program "SONGS" (General TV, Thursdays at 10pm) on May 29th. Katori, who is celebrating his fifth anniversary of solo activities, will be appearing on the program for the first time in three years.
Katori visits Meijiza Theater, the starting point of his solo career, and reveals the unknown anxieties and conflicts he felt at the time, as well as his determination to "bring smiles to" his fans.
In the studio, Katori covers songs and talks about the behind-the-scenes stories of his recording with Akina Nakamori, who also recorded with him. Yo Oizumi is also excited to see the precious footage of Nakamori that remains at NHK.
On the special stage, surrounded by an audience of 300 people, they will perform "SURVIVE (feat. LEO from ALI)" with LEO, "TATTOO (feat. Akina Nakamori)" with SOIL＆"PIMP"SESSIONS, and "Not Too Good Not Too Bad (feat. Yaffle)" with the SNG Band led by Murata Yoichi.
