A new promotional video for season 2 of the TV anime "My Dress-up Darling (Kisekoi)," based on the popular manga by Shinichi Fukuda serialized in "Young Gangan" (Square Enix), has been released on YouTube. This is the first new TV anime in about three years since season 1, which aired from January to March 2022, and it was announced that the band "Spira Spica" will be in charge of the opening theme (OP) following season 1. The promotional video showed a part of season 2's OP "Ao to Kirameki." Information about the staff for season 2 was also announced, revealing that it will be directed by Keisuke Shinohara, just like season 1, and produced by CloverWorks.

"Kise Koi" began serialization in "Young Gangan" in 2018, and the final episode was published in the 7th issue of the magazine on March 21, bringing the curtain down on the approximately 7-year serialization. It is a romantic comedy depicting the love story between Gojo Niina, a high school boy training to become a head maker who makes faces for Hina dolls, and Kitagawa Marin, a gyaru cosplayer who loves anime and games. The comic has sold over 13 million copies in total.
Season 1 of the TV anime aired from January to March 2022. A live-action drama starring Riko Nagase and Kota Nomura was also broadcast from October to December 2024, which also attracted attention. The second season will begin airing in July.
