It has been announced that singer Akira Fuse's 60th debut anniversary concert, which will be held at the Nippon Budokan on May 7th, will be exclusively broadcast and streamed on WOWOW in July. The concert will be featured for four consecutive months, along with interview programs and past concerts.
Fuse made her debut in 1965, and in 1975 her song "Scent of Cyclamen" became a million-seller, sweeping the Record Grand Prix and Japan Record Awards that year. She has released hits such as "You are more beautiful than a rose" and "MY WAY".
In addition to the main 60th anniversary concert, WOWOW will broadcast and stream an interview program in August in which Fuse talks about his 60-year journey and his passion for the stage, a 50th anniversary concert held at the Tokyo International Forum in 2015 in September, and a performance at the Tokyo International Forum in June 2021 as part of the nationwide tour commemorating the 55th anniversary of his debut in October.
