It has been announced that the 7th installment of the CS broadcast Satellite Theater's OVA (Original Video Animation) special "Rewind the VHS! Our OVA Special" will be a series of game-related OVAs to be broadcast in May. The four works that will be shown are "Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes," an animated version of a popular RPG; "Cosmic Fantasy: The Trap of the Galactic Panther," which depicts the exploits of a cosmic hunter who protects peace in the galaxy; "Vampire Hunter: The Animated Series," based on a popular Sega Saturn game; and "Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei," the origin of the Megami Tensei series.
"Vampire Hunter THE ANIMATED SERIES" is an OVA created by the "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing" duo of director and scriptwriter Ikeda Sei and character designer and animation director Murase Shukou. All four episodes will be broadcast consecutively on May 2nd at 8pm and May 17th at 8pm.
"Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei" will be broadcast at 9:30 p.m. on May Getsuku and 5 p.m. on May 17th, "The Legend of Dragon Slayer" at 6 p.m. on May 17th and 10 p.m. on May 23rd, and "Cosmic Fantasy: The Trap of the Galactic Panther Woman" at 7 p.m. on May 17th and 10 p.m. on May 30th.
"Request SP" will also be broadcast in April and May. The lineup will include "GUN SMITH CATS," "The Flame of the Transfer Student," "The Fearful Bio-Humans: The Final Teacher," "The Wannabees," "RHEA Gallforce," and "Gallforce: The Revolution."
