The creditless version of the ending video for the second season of the TV anime " The Apothecary Diaries ", based on the light novel by Natsu Hyuga , which was born from the novel posting site " Shosetsuka ni Naro ", has been released on YouTube. The video features the ending theme "Hitorigoto" by the band "Omoinotake", and is inspired by the friendship between the three characters Maomao, Kosui, and the talkative Koran, who met after catching a kitten's fur.
"Hitorigoto" will be available for download from April 5th. It was also announced that a CD containing the song will be released on May 21st. The limited edition will come in a digipack design with original illustrations from the anime, featuring Maomao and Kosui.
The light novel version of "The Apothecary Diaries" is published by Hero Bunko (Imagine Infos), and its comic adaptation has also become popular. The original series has sold over 40 million copies in total. The story is set in the glamorous harem of a certain continent, where Maomao, a young poison taster, and the handsome eunuch Jinshi become embroiled in an incident that takes place in the harem, which is full of conspiracies and rumors.
