The 13th episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama , "The Zatōkin that Shakes Edo", will be broadcast on March 30th. From this episode, Jin Katagiri will appear as Yajichi. A photo of him in costume has also been released.
Yaichi, played by Katagiri, is a dexterous townsman who makes electric lamps together with Hiraga Gennai (Ken Yasuda Ken) and Hisa (Umi Shinonome).
"UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama, depicting the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have built the foundations of Japan's media industry and pop culture. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, who is known for "Drama 10 'Ooku'" which was broadcast on NHK two years ago and became a big hit.
In episode 13, Tsutae (Yokohama) receives news from Tomeshiro (Mizusawa Rintaro) that Urokogataya (Kataoka Ainosuke) has been arrested again for counterfeiting.
We learn that Urokogataya had accumulated debts from various sources, and one of the documents was sent to a banker led by Toriyama Kengyo (Hayato Ichihara), who committed a crime in desperation. Meanwhile, within Edo Castle, the problem of a samurai's daughter being sold to pay off debts is raised, and Okitsugu (Ken Watanabe) orders Hasegawa Heizō Nobuyoshi (Nakamura Hayato) to investigate and uncover the truth about the banker's money...
