On graduation day, Mikami gave his final lesson to the students of class 2, year 3. Afterwards, the show showed Tominaga (played by Aju Makita) spending happy time with her younger brother, and the trial of Yuzuru (played by Mayu Hotta).
Meanwhile, a scene was shown of Mikami checking his tablet in front of the classroom blackboard. The word "first grade" was cut off in the image projected on the blackboard.
Matsuzaka updated his Instagram account with a photo of himself and Masaki Okada, who played Makino, in a classroom, commenting, "The final episode is also sprinkled with little tidbits. There's Madoka finding a peacock, two anti-heroes?, we learn that Mikami is in charge of the first-years, and if you look closely, you can see that the production team's thoughts are all over the place."
The Tohto Newspaper, which appeared in the final episode, carried an article titled "Peacocks appear in residential areas." The discoverer was "Madoka-san," and it became a hot topic that this was a "collaboration" with TBS's January dramas "Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle?" and "Madoka, 26, is a medical intern!".
At Yumizuru's trial, a character resembling the lawyer Akizumi, played by Hasegawa Hiroki in the popular drama "Anti-Hero" (2024) on the same network, and a character resembling Akamine, played by Takumi Kitamura, appeared, creating excitement.
On social media, comments such as, "Ohhh! Is Mikami Sensei Mikami Sensei in charge of first-year students?", "I didn't realise that Mikami-sensei would be in charge of first-year students next", "I was looking at Tori Matsuzaka's Instagram and he wrote that Mikami Sensei would be in charge of first-year students next. I wondered where he got that little joke, and then at the very end, Tori Matsuzaka was in the classroom and a PowerPoint presentation was projected on the blackboard with the word "first-year students" written in the cut-off position. That must be preparations for orientation...!" and "The part about the first-year students was so cut off that it was hard to find" were posted and garnered a lot of attention.
