It has been revealed that voice actors Kaori Maeda will play Kaori Maeda Kiyoki in the TV anime "Bad Girl," based on Nikumaru's four-frame manga currently being serialized in "Manga Time Kirara Carat" (Houbunsha). The first promotional video, which features the classic delinquent song "Tsuppari High School Rock'n Roll (School Edition)," and key visuals featuring Mizutori Mizuka and Kiyoshi Kiyoki have also been released.
Maeda commented, "The character I will be playing, Mizutori Mizuka, is Atori's younger sister, and all of her joys in life are about being an older sister. Her hobby is being an older sister, so she's one of the most punchy characters I've ever played (laughs). She's shy and very cute, and the interactions that arise from her rivalry with Yu-chan are a lot of fun, so I hope you'll check her out!"
Lynn said, "At first glance, she seems like just a pure girl, but in 'Bad Girl' there is more to it than that. I've had many opportunities to play bad characters before, but I had fun playing this one, thinking to myself 'This one is by far the worst, I wonder how I can make her even worse!'"
The series is a school comedy about Yutani Yu, a first-year student at Fujigasaki Private High School who is known for being an honor student, who meets Mizutori Atori, the school's Madonna and disciplinary committee chairman, and his school life changes completely. In order to attract the attention of Atori, who he worships as a god, Yu gives up being a good kid and strives to become a delinquent. The anime will be directed by Furuta Takeshi, who has worked on "Shaman King Flowers" and "The Seven Deadly Sins Sins: Revival of the Commandments," and produced by Bridge. It will begin airing in July.
