Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle?:"I definitely heard the baby's cry from the first floor," says Yoshi Sakou, the "Rikiro" in his letter that goes viral (spoilers included)

The ninth episode of the TV drama " Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle? " (TBS, Friday 10pm) starring Suzu Hirose was broadcast on March 21st. The contents of the letter that Endo Rikiro (played by Yoshi Sakou) wrote to Kamui (played by Hayato Isomura) became a hot topic on social media.

Kamii, a reporter who is a childhood friend of Endo Tomoya (played by Narita Ryo), the son of Rikiro, reveals to Komugi(played by Hirose) that he has been exchanging letters with Rikiro, and begins by saying, "There's something I'm curious about in one of those letters."

"First of all, if Rikiro was the culprit, why didn't he just kill Hayashikawaka? That's something that's been bothering me for a long time. But Rikiro himself gave us a hint," Kamii said, showing us a letter from Rikiro.

The letter continued, "At the beginning of my investigation, I kept quiet about one thing. On the day of the incident, I was tempted and sneaked into the Hayashikawa family garden to steal something to supplement my living expenses. No one was supposed to be there, but I heard a noise coming from inside the house. After a while, I saw Yasunari and a woman who was not his wife, holding a baby, standing in front of the house. Then, I heard the sound of a baby coming from the first floor. This continued for a while."

Rikiro was aware that the baby was on the first floor. However, the police categorically stated that the baby was on the second floor. Furthermore, they said that the woman you saw was not Yasunari's wife, and that this was a lie to confuse the investigation.

Nevertheless, Rikiro wrote a letter to Kamii saying, "I am certain that it was not your wife that I saw, and I am certain that I heard the baby's crying from the first floor."

On social media, comments such as, "What does it mean that the baby that was on the first floor was on the second floor?", "What does it mean that there were two babies? And that they were moved?", "Were there two babies at the time of the incident? Is the song misleading about Kyouko's child and is it Mamoru-kun's (Kota Nomura) child from an affair with Hayashikawa-san?" and "Why was the baby moved? There are still many mysteries unresolved."
