The 12th episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama , entitled "Sudden 'Meigetsuyojo'", was broadcast on March 23rd, and viewers were drawn to the words and actions of Matsunoi, played by Kubota Sayu.
" UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama and depicts the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have laid the foundations for Japan's media industry and pop culture.
The 12th festival will be held in Yoshiwara as the "Niwa" festival, following last year's. A battle has begun between Wakakiya (Motomiya Yasukaze) and Ooyajiya (Ito Atsushi) over who will be in charge of planning the festival.
Tsutaju (Yokohama) asks Hiraga Gennai (Ken Yasuda Ken) to write a funny story about the inside of the 30-day Niwa Festival, and is recommended to write about Hosei-do Kisanji. Kisanji, who is also known as the playboy of the Horeki era and is the caretaker of the Akita clan, is actually the man Tsutaju had met at Matsubaya before.
On the last day of the festival, Utsusemi (Karin Ono) finds the man she has been waiting for, Shinnosuke (Inowaki Kai). They stare at each other. Immediately after, someone pushes her back, and when she turns around, she sees Matsunoi. Matsunoi says, "Spirited abduction is a common occurrence in festivals," and offers the hat he has been holding, saying, "I wish you happiness."
After receiving Matsunoi's words, Utsusemi went to meet Shinnosuke. The two then took each other's hands and left Yoshiwara, blending into the hustle and bustle of the festival.
As Utsusemi and Shinnosuke tried to "escape" for the second time, viewers cheered them on on social media with comments like "I hope it works out this time," "Aaaah, be happy!" and "Good luck to you both." Matsunoi, who literally "pushed them forward," received comments like "Matsunoi, you're so cool," "That's so cool," "Matsunoi is a great oiran," and "This is making me cry."
