It has been announced that the movie version of the anime "Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc", a sequel to the TV anime " Chainsaw Man ", based on the popular manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto , currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app " Chainsaw Man Jump +", will be released on September 19th. As of December last year, the release date was announced as "Around the Time a Typhoon Comes", and it has now been revealed that the release date will be September 19th.
Visuals of each character were also released, including Chainsaw Man, Denji, Pochita, Makima, Aki Hayakawa, Power, Kobeni Higashiyama, Beam, the Demon of Violence, the Angel Devil, Reze from the movie version, and Bomb the Bomb Devil, for a total of 12 character visuals.
The "Reze" episode will be the story of Reze and the main character, Denji, who also appeared at the end of the TV anime broadcast from October to December 2022. While Denji is enjoying a date with his crush Makima, he takes shelter from the rain and meets Reze, a girl who works at a cafe.
"Chainsaw Man" is a dark hero action story about a boy named Denji who is possessed by a demon and works as a devil hunter. The first part was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from December 2018 to December 2020. The second part has been serialized in "Shonen Jump +" since July 2022.
The TV anime aired from October to December 2022.
