In Jigen's room, Tominaga (played by Aju Makita) told Mikami (played by Matsuzaka) and Jigen about her younger brother. Tominaga's younger brother had a congenital spinal cord disorder that prevented him from walking and he also had a mild intellectual disability.
On this day, Tominaga was at school when his mother called him to say that his younger brother was acting violently and he couldn't control him. After returning home, Tominaga scolded his younger brother, telling him to "stop being mean." Feeling guilty, he ran out of the house and asked Jigen for help, so he stopped by Jigen's house.
Meanwhile, Tamayo knocked on Jigen's door. "The call is busy right now!" Jigen replied. Tamayo replied in a loud voice, "It's fine! Open up!"
When Jigen opened the door, Tamayo handed him some hot udon noodles, saying, "You must be hungry! Put something warm in your stomach."
Tamayo advised Tominaga, "Stay at my place tonight. Tomorrow is Saturday. I thought it might be a bit nosy, but I called your mother." Jigen was pleased with his mother and said, "Good job, Mom!"
"I heard a little bit about it from your mother, so if you don't mind," Tamayo suggested, to which Tominaga replied, "Thank you." Tamayo cheerfully replied, "Then it's settled! Now, eat some udon. If you eat some udon, most things will work out."
On social media, there were a flood of comments such as, "I don't know why, but I was moved to tears when Jigen's mom brought the udon," "Yamada Maho (Jigen's mom) said, 'If you just eat some udon, most things will be fine,' which was so reassuring," "Jigen's mom was so funny! Yamada Maho is so wonderful! The udon looked delicious," "Jigen's mom is so warm. The udon really soaks up the blood," and "The kindness of Jigen's mom's udon brought me to tears..."
