WOWOW:Chinese drama "To You, Shining Brighter than the Stars" will be broadcast and distributed exclusively in Japan. A business success story starring Xu Kai and Tan Songyun

It has been announced that the popular Chinese drama "To You, Shining Brighter than the Stars" (40 episodes in total) will be exclusively broadcast and streamed in Japan on WOWOW from late night on May 14th. The story is about an elite businessman played by actor Xu Kai and an aspiring female engineer entrepreneur played by Tan Songyun, who overcome difficulties, develop love and make their business a success.

Xu Kai plays Han Ting, CEO of Dongyang Medical, a subsidiary of the giant Dongyang Group. He is also an investor and has natural leadership qualities. Tan Songyun plays Ji Xing, an excellent engineer who is passionate about developing medical robots. The two studied at the same prestigious university and were in the same group in the AI contest.

After graduation, the two meet again at the development site of smart medicine. Han Ting has become the CEO of Dongyang Medical, a major medical equipment manufacturer. Meanwhile, Kisei achieves good results at the company, but is harassed because of his excellence, and is invited by a junior from university to decide to start his own business. Han Ting, who has had feelings for Kisei since his student days, explains the harsh reality to Kisei, who has the ability and enthusiasm but is inexperienced in business, and helps her realize her business. Even after starting her own business, she faces various troubles, but under Han Ting's watch, Kisei solves each problem one by one and grows.

Due to the busy schedule of starting up his business, Kisei breaks up with his girlfriend, with whom he had engaged to be married. Han Ting continues to support the heartbroken Kisei, both at work and in his personal life. Although Kisei is confused, he finally realizes Han Ting's sincere feelings for him... and so the story unfolds.

"To You, Who Shines Brighter Than the Stars" will be broadcast and streamed two episodes at a time on WOWOW Prime and WOWOW On Demand every Wednesday at midnight starting from May 14th.
