The final episode of the drama series " The Hot Spot " (NTV, Sunday 10:30 pm), starring actress Mikako Ichikawa , was broadcast on March 16th. In the episode, there is a scene where Kiyomi (Ichikawa) reveals the true identity of Takahashi (Kadota Akihiro) to her daughter Wakaba (Sumita Akihiro Kakuta) at a family restaurant, and Wakaba's words there caused a stir on social media.

In the final episode, it is revealed that Haraguchi (Mariko Tsutsui), the owner of the business hotel where Kiyomi works, and Mayor Umemoto (Rinko Kikuchi) are secretly connected. Kiyomi, Hatchi (Anne Suzuki), and Minapu (Kami Hiraiwa) uncover the fraud of the two men who are trying to make a huge profit by selling the hotel, and try to save the alien Takahashi.
Kiyomi, Takahashi and others find the scene where Haraguchi and Umemoto are having a secret meeting. With the help of the psychic Mizuki (Shida Mirai) and Takahashi, who happen to be there, they catch the scene and Haraguchi and others are asked to voluntarily accompany them to the police. As a result, the plan to sell the hotel is thwarted and the town is saved... and so it unfolds.
In the story, after the series of disturbances is resolved, Kiyomi gets Takahashi's permission and tells her daughter Wakaba everything she's ever known about at a family restaurant. After hearing Kiyomi's story, Wakaba responds, "So, he's just like the grandpa from Shizuoka." When Kiyomi asks, "What do you mean?" Wakaba replies, "What? The grandpa from Shizuoka is an alien. Haven't you heard?" revealing that Kiyomi's ex-husband, Shinpei (Koji Okura), has an alien father. Kiyomi checks with Shinpei again and is surprised to find out that Shinpei and Wakaba are also of alien descent, but she readily accepts it.
On social media, many people expressed surprise at Wakaba's words. Comments such as "So the grandpa in Shizuoka is also an alien?", "I can't believe my family member is an alien lol", "What an unexpected turn of events", and "So surprising" were posted.
