Komugi Mugi (Hirose) visits Kyoko. "The reason I came here today is..." Kyoko begins, and apologizes, saying, "I heard from Akazawa (that Komugi Mugi found out that she was Hayashikawaka). I'm sorry I hid it from you, Komugi Mugi." At the same time, she tells him, "I want you to be happy as Yamashita Kokoro Komugi. I think you can forget about your past as Hayashikawaka."
In response, Komugi firmly stated, "I want to do that too. But that's impossible. I can't get rid of the fact that I am Hayashikawaka." After hearing Komugi's thoughts, Kyoko said, "You see, (her son) Mamoru (Kota Nomura) doesn't know about Komugi Mugi's past. He's at an important stage in his life as a police officer, and if it comes to light that his father was involved in this case..." and took out a bankbook from a drawer.
"I'm sorry. I'm a mother too. Please, understand our feelings and let's just pretend this never happened," Kyoko said, handing over her bankbook.
When Komugi saw the contents of the bankbook, he was surprised and exclaimed, "100 million..." and then asked, "Eh, is this hush money?"
"This is my apology," Kyoko said. "I told you before, didn't I? I have a secret that I can't tell Akazawa. So, please. Accept it. And please keep this a secret from Akazawa and everyone else. Keep this a secret just between me and Komugi Mugi-chan!" she pleaded.
However, Komugi said with determination in his eyes, "I will definitely find out why my father was killed, and what he entrusted to me. I'll excuse myself today."
On social media, there are many comments such as, "Kyoko has always been creepy and scary... who is she?", "Akazawa's wife is scary - there's something fishy going on", "I was shocked when Kyoko just pulled out a 100 million yen bankbook from a drawer on the shelf!" and "It would be scary to be suddenly shown a 100 million yen balance."
There was also a scene where Kyoko received a message from "Hiroshima Ikumi" written in a letter from Yamashita Haruo (Lily Franky). On social media, there were comments such as "Kyoko is too scary. I wonder what that water and the charm were... It's also connected to Hiroshima Ikumi" and "Kyoko and Akazawa were once separated. The connection between that mysterious water and Hiroshima Ikumi makes Kyoko suspicious."
