It was revealed on March 14th that a sequel to the anime "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World!" (KonoSuba), based on Natsume Akatsuki's light novel, will be produced. On the same day, the new original video animation (OVA) "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! 3 -BONUS STAGE-" began screening in theaters, and the production of the sequel was announced in a video after the main story. "KonoSuba" is an adventure fantasy in which a young, game-loving man named Satou Kazuma (Kazuma) dies in an accident and is reincarnated in another world, where he embarks on an adventure full of trouble with goddesses.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2016, the second season from January to March 2017, and the third season from April to June 2024.
