The ninth episode of the drama series "The Hot Spot" (Nippon TV, Sunday 10:30 pm) starring actress Mikako Ichikawa was broadcast on March 9th. There was a scene where snack bar hostess "Non-chan" (Megumi) meets the alien Takahashi (Akihiro Kakuta), and Noriko's reaction to the scene became a hot topic.

In episode 9, we learn that the business hotel where Kiyomi (Ichikawa) works will soon be demolished, and the hot springs that are Takahashi's source of life will be gone. The manager, Okuda (Tanaka Naoki), negotiates with the owner, Haraguchi (Tsutsui Mariko), to keep the hotel open, but the owner's intention to sell cannot be changed. According to Murakami (Fumiyo Kohinata), a man from the future, the city will buy the land around the former hotel site and build a new facility such as a multi-purpose facility. Kiyomi, Hazuki (Suzuki Anne), Minami (Hiraiwa Kami), and others begin a strategy meeting... and so the story unfolds.
Kiyomi, Takahashi, and others go to classmate Noriko's snack bar with Ayano (Kinami Haruka) to think up a plan. When Takahashi meets Noriko, he reveals that he is an alien by using his familiar ability to bend a 10 yen coin.
Noriko is surprised when the 10 yen coin is bent in front of her, but then Takahashi confesses, "The reason why I can do this is... I'm an alien," to which she responds nonchalantly, "Oh, is that so? Oh, how long have you been here?" Kiyomi points out, "Isn't that a bit of a surprise for someone who's been called an alien?" but Noriko responds, "We've had a lot of foreign customers recently, so I might be used to it."
Kiko's straightforward reaction to this scene became a hot topic on social media. Comments included, "She believed it right away lol," "She accepted it quickly," "She's too flexible," "She's just lumping everyone in with foreigners," "She's not surprised at all lol," and "She was on the same shelf as the foreigners."
