The first week of the completed preview of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan ," starring actress Mio Imada , which begins on March 31, was held at the NHK Broadcasting Center in Shibuya, Tokyo on March 10, where production manager Kurasaki Ken responded to an interview. Kurasaki gave his stamp of approval to Imada, who plays the main character Asada Nobu, and Takumi Kitamura , who plays Takashi Yanai , Nobu's husband, saying, "There was no other casting possible than these two."
This is the sixth time Imada and Kitamura have worked together. Kurazaki commented, "We haven't even gotten to the wedding scene yet, but when I watch their scenes together, I think they have amazing chemistry. Even when I watch their two-shot together on the monitor, I can't think of a better combination. I don't think there was any other casting possible for these two, with Imada as Nobu and Kitamura as Takami. They have such great chemistry, I want to keep watching the footage."
He continued, "You can tell that they trust each other even when the cameras aren't rolling, and I think that comes across on screen. Going forward, we'll see Nobu and Taka living together, getting married, and becoming a married couple, and we're all looking forward to it."
Regarding the proposal scene between the two, he appealed, "How the proposal will be made is something that's typical of Asadora, and I think it's something that Asadora viewers look forward to, so I hope you'll look forward to it."
Imada and Kitamura also attended the press conference.
"Anpan" is written by Miho Nakazono, who is known for the "Doctor X: Surgeon Daimon Michiko" (TV Asahi) series, and tells the story of love and courage that will make you feel the joy of living as Yanase Takashi, who was still a Takashi Yanase at the time, and his wife Nobu Komatsu overcome all sorts of rough seas to arrive at "Anpanman." Imada will play Asada Nobu, who is based on Nobu, and Kitamura will play Takashi Yanai, who is based on Yanase.
