On February 26th, newly taken photos of Rio Nagashima , a 6th generation member who will be a new member of the idol group Nogizaka46 , along with her own handwritten profile, were released.
Nagashima is 17 years old and was born on May 25, 2007 in Hokkaido. She wrote to her fans in both Japanese and English, "I will do my best with a smile, honesty, consideration and gratitude as my motto, so I would be happy if you would support me from nearby!!"
On the same day, Akari Kaibe's photo and handwritten profile were also released. On the 27th, Kokone Atago Kokone and Morihira Urumi Morihira's photos and handwritten profiles will be released.
The 6th generation members were selected through auditions held twice, in spring and summer last year, and a total of 11 people joined. On April 6th, the debut event "Nogizaka46 First Debut 'Nice to meet you, 6th generation members'" will be held at Pia Arena MM (Nishi-ku, Yokohama).
