Starting March 4th, TV Asahi's monthly late-night variety slot "Barabara Monthly" will air "Yamazato Ryota and Heisei Detox" (Tuesdays at 2:54 a.m., Kanto local).
Ryota Yamazato of the comedy duo "Nankai Candies," who has experienced both the sweet and sour things of the Heisei era, will go to a sauna to let out the vague memories he had during the Heisei era, the "Heisei complex," and detox with sweat. The show will be broadcast for four consecutive weeks.
After finishing the recording, Yamazato commented, "Is this... okay? What part can we broadcast...? I was having so much fun in the sauna environment that I couldn't judge what was okay to say and what was not..."
The first episode will feature Hikorohi as a guest. Yamazato reflected on their collaboration, saying, "The speed with which he found what was most interesting in this space was 'the genius Hikorohi is here.'"
After being broadcast on terrestrial television, it will be streamed on the video distribution service "TELASA."
