The third episode of the TV drama "The Hot Spot" (Nippon TV, Sunday 10:30 p.m.), starring actress Ichikawa Mikako, was broadcast on January 26th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 5.3% for households and 3.0% for individuals.
This work is a reunion of Bakarhythm, who wrote the script for the popular drama "Brush Up Life" (same station), and the production staff of the same drama. Set in a town in Yamanashi Prefecture at the foot of Mount Fuji, the story follows the protagonist Endo Kiyomi (Ichikawa), a single mother who works at a business hotel, who meets an alien by chance and asks for help solving small problems in her work and private life without upsetting him.
In the third episode, Kiyomi (Ichikawa), Hazuki (Suzuki Anne), and Minami (Hiraiwa Kami) are off work and invite Takahashi (Kakuta Akihiro) to a local restaurant. By chance, they end up sitting at a table with their classmate Ayano (Kinami Haruka), but unexpected events occur one after another. Meanwhile, at the business hotel where Kiyomi works, her colleague Yumi (Kaho), who loves urban legends, suspects that Takahashi, who never shows his private side, is an alien... and so the story unfolds.
