Noritake Kinashi & George Tokoro:"We've received an order from NHK!" Supporting Leon Shinhama at the Red and White Song Battle

It was announced on December 27th that Noritake Kinashi of the comedy duo "Tunnels" and talent George Tokoro will be making a guest appearance on the "75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen" (General TV and others), which will be broadcast on New Year's Eve.

Kinashi and Tokoro appeared as support guests for Leon Shinhama, who was participating for the first time. The song that Shinhama performed, "Subete Ageyou," was produced by Kinashi and written and composed by Tokoro. Kinashi also came up with the idea for the "hiza sura" that Shinhama performs at the end of the song.

Kinashi commented, "We've received an order from NHK! We'll be attending the Red and White Song Battle to support Leon! Shinhama Leon will be giving it his all! Will I be in the chorus?"

Tokoro said, "It's great to have such a wonderful end to the year thanks to Leon's hard work and Nori's excitement. Thanks to them, it's been a hectic end of the year for the first time in a while. I hope Leon doesn't get too excited and get out of breath during the performance! He's sang many times, so I think he'll be fine (laughs)."

The 75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen will be broadcast on December 31st from 7:20pm to 11:45pm (with some news breaks). Hiroiki Ariyoshi, Kanna Hashimoto, Sari Ito, and announcer Naoko Suzuki will be the hosts.
