The 44th episode of the 21st installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "Wonderful PreCure!", titled "Lots of Happiness", will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi at 8:30 a.m. on December 8th.
One morning, when Komugi and Iroha were going to school as usual, they met Otsuru walking with her dog Fuku. Fuku, who was about to turn 18, was already a grandmother and rode in a cart. Iroha, who remembered playing together when she was little, decided to celebrate Fuku's birthday, and Yuki, Mayu, and Satoru decided to help out.
After school, Komugi and the others gather at Otsuru's house and, together with Oshika and Okame, who had arrived earlier, begin preparing the decorations. As they are doing so, Iroha notices a photo. It is a picture of Otsuru when she was young, with a different dog than Fuku. The dog in the photo is Suzu, who used to be Otsuru's pet dog, but she passed away when Otsuru was in high school. Since then, Otsuru had not lived with animals, not wanting to experience sadness again, and 18 years ago she met Fuku.
The motif of "Wonderful Precure!" is "animals," and the keyword is "Everyone's friends! Wonderful!". Set in Animal Town, a town where animals and humans live together in harmony, the story depicts the deep bonds that are woven between animals and humans, such as dogs and their owners, and cats and their owners, and the interactions that transcend species. The series, which began in 2004, is also attracting attention for featuring a "dog Precure" for the first time.
Maria Naganawa will play Cure Wonderful/Inukai Komugi, Atsumi Tanezaki will play Cure Friendy/Inukai Iroha, Hayate Matsuda will play Cure Nyami/Nekoyashiki Yuki, and Reina Ueda will play Cure Rilian/Nekoyashiki Mayu.
