It has been revealed that TV personality Karin Yamada passed the weather forecaster exam at the age of 13. The weather forecaster exam is one of the most difficult national exams, with a pass rate of about 5%. Although Yamada is not the youngest to pass, it is extremely rare for a person to pass at 13 years old. Yamada, who has previously appeared on quiz shows such as "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" (Nippon TV), has once again proven her talent.

Regarding her passing, Yamada commented, "There were times when I was anxious and had a hard time with schoolwork and tests, but I got up at 5am every morning and studied before going to school. The more I learn about weather, the deeper it becomes, and with the help of my teachers and family, I was able to enjoy taking the exam in the end. My goal is to become an actress, but I would also like to use my qualifications to do a weather segment, and I would be happy to appear on quiz shows and educational programs."

Yamada was born on November 24, 2010 in Tokyo. She is currently in her second year of junior high school and is affiliated with the talent agency Sun Music Productions. Her father is Taizo Yamada, a former announcer for Nagoya TV and currently a freelance announcer. He announced his daughter's success on his social media accounts.
