The original drama "AIBOU sideX" of the popular detective drama "AIBOU season 23" (TV Asahi, Wednesday 9pm) has started streaming exclusively on TELASA. It is the "complete version" of "AIBOU sideA/sideB" which started streaming on TELASA in March this year, with a shocking ending.
The story goes back to the first episode of season 23, "Police Officer A", which aired on October 16th. It is the story of the two "partners" detectives, Hirai Kumi (Hisayoshi, played by Fukusaki Nayuta) and Takagi Sora (Sora, played by Ishikawa Raizo), who appeared in the episode, and the Special Investigation Unit.
◇Synopsis of "AIBOU sideX"
The body of Matsuno (Watari Hiroshi), a former member of a gang who was expelled from the gang, was found. The cause of death was acute poisoning from synthetic drugs, but there were numerous bruises on the body, suggesting that he had been attacked by someone.
Special agent Sugishita Ukyo (Mizutani Yutaka) visits the scene and focuses on a receipt left behind. He learns that the victim had dined with someone at a Chinese restaurant on the night of the incident. It soon becomes clear that the person was a young man named Hirai Kumi. Hirai says that he and Matsuno had a relationship like that of a senior and junior, and denies any involvement in the crime. He also reveals that Matsuno had said before his death that he might be killed by a "half-gangster" named Takagi Sora. Ukyo and Hirai search for Takagi's whereabouts.
Meanwhile, off-duty Kameyama Kaoru (Terawaki Yasufumi) is shopping with his wife Miwako (Suzuki Sawa) when he encounters a young man trying to pry open a container-type storage room with a crowbar. The young man introduces himself as Takagi Sora and claims that he just wanted to retrieve some luggage that his senior had left for him, but the key to the storage room had been stolen, so he had no choice but to try to break it open. Takagi asks Kaoru to find Hirai Kumi, who stole the key. As things turn out, Kaoru ends up searching for Hirai with Takagi, but Ukyo appears before Kaoru.
Two years after the incident, Hirai and Takagi, who have atoned for their crimes, are reunited and head to a certain person's place.
