A special music video (MV) for the opening theme (OP) "Curtain Call" sung by singer-songwriter Yuri for the seventh season of the TV anime "My Hero Academia," based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), has been released on YouTube. "My Hero Academia" began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in July 2014. Set in a world where about 80% of the population has supernatural powers and quirks, the story follows Deku, also known as Izuku Midoriya, as he strives to become the greatest hero. The final episode was released in the combined 36th and 37th issue of the magazine on August 5th, bringing the curtain down on the roughly 10-year serialization.

The seventh season of the TV anime is currently airing on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV every Saturday at 5:30 pm. The latest movie, My Hero Academia: The Movie: Your Next, was released on August 2nd and has been a hit, drawing an audience of approximately 2.42 million people and grossing approximately 3.47 billion yen.
