It has been revealed that the November issue of Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM (Ichijinsha), which was released on September 28th and featured "Saiyuki RELOAD BLAST," a popular manga series from the "Saiyuki" series by Minekura Kazuya, for the first time in about five years, will be reprinted. According to Ichijinsha, the decision was made to urgently reprint the issue "in consideration of the overwhelming response and sales situation at various EC sites and bookstores." Orders for the reprinted edition will be accepted from noon on October 1st on Animate's online store.

This is the first time in about five years that "Saiyuki RELOAD BLAST" has been featured in the magazine since the July 2019 issue, released on May 28th, 2019. It was featured on the cover of the issue, with the caption "The legend restarts." The latest chapter was published in a massive 62 pages. As a special bonus, it will come with a set of two "Saiyuki RELOAD BLAST" bromides using original illustrations by Minekura.

The "Saiyuki" series is a popular manga modeled on the Chinese fantasy novel "Journey to the West," and began serialization in 1997. Set in a world where humans and monsters coexist in a paradise, the story follows Tripitaka leader Xuanzang, Son Goku, and his companions as they journey to Tenjiku to find out why the monsters have become violent. It has been adapted into a TV anime five times, as well as an OVA (original video animation), an anime movie, and a musical.

"Saiyuki RELOAD BLAST" is the final chapter of the series, and began serialization in Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM in December 2009. The TV anime aired from July to September 2017.
