A special exhibition on the popular anime series "Gundam" entitled "Gundam Next Future Science Exhibition - For a prosperous life in the future" will be held at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) from October 3rd. The special exhibition will allow visitors to experience a future where the spectacular worldview of the Gundam series is fused with cutting-edge science and technology. The worldview of the anime will be linked to real space development and technology, showing future possibilities, and show how the technology and settings of the anime world have influenced real-world researchers and become a driving force towards realization. The exhibition will run until October 22nd.

The series depicts life in space, and space technologies such as space colonies will be exhibited from the perspectives of "space," "environment," and "technology." The latest robot technology will be introduced to the technical aspects of mobile suits (MS). Visitors can also enjoy the experience of operating robots inspired by the Gundam series. There will also be a technical verification of "food" and "living" in space.

A special course, "Gundam Open Innovation Science Course," and a workshop to foster the fun of manufacturing and creativity through the experience of assembling Gunpla (plastic models) will also be held. Admission fees are 950 yen for adults, 600 yen for junior and senior high school students, and 500 yen for children (ages 4 and over).
