It has been announced that a collaboration will take place between the original version of the animated film "Kitaro: The Birth of GeGeGe no Nazo" (The Real Version), which has been retaken and re-dubbed, and "Venom: The Last Dance," the final chapter of the "Venom" film series, which stars Spider-Man's greatest nemesis Venom. "Venom" is a buddy story in which Eddie Brock and an extraterrestrial life form become one and save the world from crisis, and "Kitaro: The Birth of GeGeGe no Nazo" features Kitaro's father, a descendant of the ghost tribe, and Mizuki fighting together. This unusual collaboration was made possible by the commonality between the two films, which are both buddy stories with non-human partners.
A video of the collaboration between the two films, titled "Most Evil Partner Autumn Festival 2024," has been released on YouTube. Narrated by Junichi Suwabe, the voice actor for the main character Eddie in the Japanese dubbed version of the "Venom" series, and Hidenobu Kiuchi, the voice actor for Mizuki in "The Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of GeGeGe," the video shows the "partners" fighting a passionate battle together.

"The Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of GeGeGe" is the sixth movie version of the TV anime "GeGeGe no Kitaro," based on the manga by the late Shigeru Mizuki, and was released to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Mizuki's birth.
