Tiger with wings：A screenwriter talks about the amazing facial muscles of Ito Sari: Can you see her emotions just by standing there? "Her range of acting is incredible."

Ito Sari stars in the NHK morning drama "Wings of the Tiger" (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8am and others). Scriptwriter Yoshida Erika spoke about the appeal of Ito, who plays the main character Torako.

Looking back, Yoshida said, "I was very happy when it was decided that Ito would play Torako," revealing, "I knew Ito could do it. I wrote the script with the feeling that Ito would be able to play Torako without being disliked."

Torako, who was 18 when the drama began, has aged as the story progresses and has become a fully grown woman. Yoshida praised Ito's performance, saying, "Torako's acting as an adult is amazing."

"Her acting is natural and not overly mature. Her tone is youthful, but her mannerisms, gaze, and smiles allow her to portray different ages. Every time I receive the finished package and watch it, I'm amazed at her delicate acting."

One of Torako's charms is her rich expressions, but "Her acting is wonderful, not only when she speaks, but also when she just stands there, and you can see her emotions. On the other hand, her acting is so rich that she can express joy, anger, sadness, and happiness with just her facial expressions, and her range of acting is amazing. I think her facial muscles are very well developed."

Yoshida sometimes shows up at the set of "Wings of the Tiger." Whenever she visits, she reveals, "Whenever I go, I can hear Ito's bright laughter, and I'm encouraged by thinking, 'Ito is in good spirits today.'"

"Ito-san is always smiling and tells me all sorts of things, like, 'This scene was really good,' so it cheers me up too. No matter how busy she is, she never seems tense or sulky, so I think she's really an amazing person. I think she has the talent to make those around her smile."

The story is nearing the end of the series, and the final episode of "Wings of the Tiger" will air at the end of this month. I want to watch until the very end to see what happens to Torako, who has been busy with work and raising her child.
