A preview screening of the TV anime "Maou 2099," based on a light novel that was also the subject of much discussion after winning the Grand Prize at the 33rd Fantasia Awards, was held at United Cinema Toyosu (Koto-ku, Tokyo) on September 14th, with Hino Satoshi, who plays Bertholt Velvet Beerschwald, Ito Miku, who plays Makina Solege, and Hishikawa Kana, who plays Takahashi, in attendance. The first and second episodes were shown in advance, and Ito spoke about the highlights of the character she plays, saying, "In the first episode, there were many scenes where she calmly explains things, but from the second episode onwards, she starts to get a little strange.
