The film "I Don't Remember!" (released in 2019), written and directed by Mitani Koki, will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" slot (Saturday 9pm) on September 14th. The broadcast is to commemorate the release of Mitani's latest film "Let's Talk about Suomi," which he also wrote and directed. Actor Nakai Kiichi plays the lead role, and co-stars include Dean Fujioka, Ishida Yuriko, Kusakari Masao, Sato Koichi, Kimura Yoshino, Saito Yuki, Koike Eiko, and Yoshida Yo. "I Don't Remember" is a political comedy that begins when Prime Minister Kuroda Keisuke (played by Nakai), who has the lowest approval rating in constitutional history, is hit in the head by a stone thrown by an ordinary citizen and loses his memory. It was a huge hit, grossing 3.64 billion yen. It has been adapted into a stage play by the Takarazuka Revue and is currently being performed. Prime Minister Kuroda wakes up in a hospital bed, but has no idea who he is or where he is. He has no memory of anything. He sneaks out of the hospital and sees himself on the TV news. He is hit by a stone while giving a speech and is taken to the hospital. He learns that he was the most powerful man in the country, and that the people hate him so much that they threw stones at him.

A man who appears to be a subordinate comes to pick up Kuroda and takes him to the official residence. He is told, "You are the 127th Prime Minister. The people call you the worst Prime Minister in history. The Prime Minister's memory loss is top secret, our secret only." Only three secretaries know the truth. Not even Kuroda's wife Satoko (Ishida-san) knows. Kuroda doesn't remember the policies he was trying to push forward, let alone the faces and names of his ministers, the location of the main assembly hall in the Diet Building, or even the name of his own son.

He is blackmailed by a freelance writer for a tabloid newspaper over a matter he has no memory of, and is approached in a hotel by his mistress, who he has no memory of. It seems that his wife is also having an affair, and his son is turning to delinquency. And at this very moment, the President of the United States comes to Japan. With other world leaders, political rivals, the Prime Minister's staff, the media, his family, and the public involved, the Prime Minister, who has lost his memory, makes a great sacrifice to regain his dreams and ideals, and eventually begins to seriously want to change this country... This is how the story unfolds.

Actor Tanaka Kei, freelance announcer Udo Yumiko, Yamaguchi Takashi, Kajiwara Yoshi, Terajima Susumu, Fujimoto Takahiro, Sakoda Takaya, Miyazawa Emma, Hamada Tatsuomi, musician ROLLY, and Goto Junpei of the comedy duo "JaruJaru" also appear.
