Shinjuku Anime Song Scope："Garukura" Togenashi Togeari's second album tops the charts, "Mirishita" new CD series, "Gakumasu" too

"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" is a website where anime buyer Higuchi Sho from Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its wide selection of anime songs, reports on best-selling anime songs and the voices of the sales floor. The number one album at the store from August 25th to September 1st was "Toge Nashi," the second album by "Togenashi Toge Ari," the band featured in the original TV anime "Girls Band Cry" by Toei Animation.

◇Last week's results

The story of "Girls Band Cry" is about the protagonist, Isekiri Nina, who drops out of high school and moves to Tokyo alone, and her friends who end up forming a five-member girl band called Togenashi Toge Ari... The TV anime aired from April to June. The second album "Toge Nashi," which topped the charts, includes the opening and ending themes from the TV anime, the insert songs performed in the show, and two new songs by Togenashi Toge Ari that were not used in the TV anime.

The second release from the new CD series "MOVEMENT OF STARDOM ROAD" for the popular game "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION MOVEMENT OF STARDOM ROAD 02 Upper Dog" came in second, while "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION MOVEMENT OF ASTROLOGIA 02 ilLUmiNAte!" debuted in fourth place. Each release includes songs performed in the game as well as drama parts.

In sixth, seventh, and eighth place were the first singles from the completely new smartphone app "Gakuen Idolmaster (Gakumas)" in the "THE IDOLM@STER (Imas)" series, "Katsuragi Liliya 1st Single "Hakusen", "Kuramoto China 1st Single "Wonder Scale", and "Himezaki Rina 1st Single "clumsy trick"".

Coming in at 9th and 10th place are the soundtrack for the original anime film "Your Color" directed by Yamada Naoko, known for "A Silent Voice" and "Liz and the Blue Bird," "The Original Soundtrack of the Movie: All is Colour Within," and "Shironeko-do Demo Tape (cassette)," which contains demo versions of songs by the band "Shironeko-do" featured in the film. The music for this work is by Ushio Kensuke, who has worked with Yamada in the past.

We're keeping our eye on the fourth single "Tsukiyomi Kurage" by "Chronicles Bouquet," a unit within the group of virtual school idol group "Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club" from the popular "Love Live!" series, and the first mini-album "Persona" by Fuwa Minato, who is part of the VTuber project "Nijisanji."
