The ninth episode of the popular TBS Sunday drama "Reboot," starring Ryohei Suzuki, aired on March 22nd (Sundays at 9 PM). A shocking betrayal was revealed, and social media was flooded with shocked reactions.

Hayase (Suzuki) rescues Natsumi (Erika Toda) from Fuyuhashi. Natsumi had refused to accept that she was "Natsumi," but Hayase's sincere words swayed her heart, and she tearfully apologized and accepted him. In order to protect her family, there was no choice but to destroy Goroku (Yukiya Kitamura) and his organization. With a fierce resolve in their hearts, the two declare war on Goroku.
Then, Hayase saves Takumi (played by Akira Yazaki) from an attack by Goroku's henchmen. Pulling on Takumi's ear to show his concern, Hayase reveals to Takumi and Ryoko (played by Mieko Harada) that he is both their father and son.
Hayase and Natsumi meet with Makita (Hideaki Ito), reveal all of Goroku's conspiracies, and secure his cooperation. Meanwhile, Goroku secretly contacts Yaichi Makita (Danjuro Ichikawa). In exchange for donating 10 billion yen that he had been entrusted with by a Hong Kong organization, he makes Yaichi promise that if he ever takes power, they will work together to govern the country.
Hayase tries to win over Fuyuhashi, but is easily captured by Kiriya (Ryoka Fujisawa). Having overheard the conversation, Natsumi persuades Kaieda (Yoshi Sakou) to tell her the time and place where Goroku will hand over 10 billion yen to Yaichi. She then informs Makita of the handover date and time and asks him to protect Hayase.
To buy time, Natsumi goes to Goroku's shop and pleads with him to spare Hayase's life in exchange for her own. However, she finds Yaichi and Makita there instead... Hayase manages to persuade Fuyuhashi, who was trying to kill him, but Goroku, who had foreseen this, has Kikuchi (played by Tsukaji Takeya) and his men burst in...
