It has been announced that standee visual cards will be distributed as a gift to moviegoers during the first two weeks of the theatrical film " Sound! Euphonium! Ayano Takeda : The Final Movement," a reimagining of " Sound! Euphonium ! Sound! Euphonium 3," the third season of the TV anime "Sound! Euphonium," which is based on the novel by Ayano Takeda. The first week, starting April 24th, will feature all six characters: Kumiko, Hazuki, Mayu, Asuka, Natsuki, and Sari. The second week, starting May 1st, will feature all six characters: Reina, Midori, Kanade, Kaori, Yuko, and Ririka. The cards feature newly drawn, mature-looking visuals of the characters in white dresses, each designed with their birth flower.
It was also announced that all previous theatrical films and special episodes of the " Sound! Euphonium" series will be premiered on YouTube. They will be released for five consecutive days starting April 19th.
"Sound! Euphonium" is set in the brass band club of Kitauji High School and depicts the growth of the band members, including euphonium player Kumiko Oumae. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2015, the second season from October to December 2016, and the third season from April to July 2024. "The Final Movement" is a polished version of cuts from the third season of the TV anime, with many new scenes added. The first part will be released on April 24th.
