The stage event lineup for AnimeJapan 2026, the world's largest anime event, was announced on January 16th. Four stages will be featured, including the largest RED Stage, as well as the GREEN, BLUE, and WHITE Stages, with a total of 50 stage events taking place over two days, March 28th and 29th. Events featuring popular and talked-about works, such as " Jujutsu Kaisen : Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba," "Jujutsu Kaisen," " Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," "Oshi no Ko," and "Re:Zero(Re:ZERO)," as well as "Is the Order a Rabbit? (GochiUsa)" and "Sgt. Frog," which are getting animated feature films, and "Magic Knight Rayearth" and "Fist of the North Star," which are getting new anime, will be held, featuring a star-studded cast.
On March 28th, events will be held for "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kimetsu no Yaiba," "Jujutsu Jujutsu Kaisen," "My Hero Academia," "GochiUsa," "Magic Knight Rayearth," "Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," "ONE PIECE," "Medalist," "MAO," and "Fist of the North Star."
On March 29th, the lineup will include "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," "Oshi no Ko,""Re:Zero," "Twins of the Underworld," " Sound! Euphonium," "Rascal Does Not Dream Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl," "Samurai Troopers," "The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten," "Magical Sisters Lulluto Lily," "Sgt. Frog Frog the Movie: The Return of the Earth and the Immediate Threat of Earth's Destruction!" and "Akane-banashi."
In addition to the 52 stage events, there will also be a variety of other events, including the sale of official goods featuring characters from the key visuals, the "Production Works Gallery" exhibition focusing on animation production, and cosplay events.
AnimeJapan is an event that began in 2014, and this will be its 13th time being held. Following the previous event, which recorded over 150,000 visitors, the event will be held on its largest scale yet at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo) in East Exhibition Hall 4-8, South Exhibition Hall 1-4, and the Rooftop Exhibition Hall. Over 120 companies, the largest number ever, will exhibit, including Aniplex, KADOKAWA, TOHO animation, Bandai Namco Filmworks, Toei Animation, and DMM.com. Public days will be held on March 28th and 29th, business days on March 30th and 31st, and the "Family Anime Festa 2026" for families and kids will be held on March 28th and 29th. As with the previous event, idol group Sakurazaka46 will serve as ambassadors.
