It has been revealed that the fourth season of the TV anime "BLEACH: The Thousand-Year Blood Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War ," based on the final chapter of Tite Kubo's popular manga "BLEACH," serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), entitled "BLEACH: The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc - Kashintan," will begin airing on TV Tokyo and other networks in July 2026. The final season, "The Thousand-Year Blood War Arc," will be split into four seasons, with "Kashintan" being the final season. A teaser trailer and visual have been released, depicting the path walked by "those once known as traveling calamities," and their final battle.
It was also announced that a special project, "TV ANIMATION "BLEACH" THE STORIES," will be launched, looking back on the history of the TV anime "BLEACH." Starting with the release of a special visual featuring a series of illustrations by original author Kubo, newly drawn as anime illustrations, the TV anime will be streamed for free on YouTube, and past opening and ending videos, as well as roundtable interview videos featuring the main cast from each arc, will be released. The first episode of the TV anime will be streamed for free from December 21st. From December 27th, episodes from the "Substitute Shinigami Arc" to the third season of the "Thousand-Year Blood War Arc," " The Conflict," will be streamed sequentially.
"BLEACH" is a manga that depicts Ichigo Kurosaki, who has acquired the powers of a Shinigami, battling evil spirits called Hollows with his friends and embarking on an adventure across other worlds. It was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2001 to 2016 and gained popularity as one of the magazine's flagship works.
The anime series aired on TV from 2004 to 2012, and four feature films were released. A live-action film starring Sota Fukushi was released in 2018. The "Thousand-Year Blood War Arc" will be broadcast in four seasons, with the first season airing from October to December 2022, the second season from July to September 2023, and the third season from October to December 2024.
