To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Godzilla film series, it has been announced that the Godzilla 70th Wafer Collect Box, a wafer set with a card, will go on sale at Lawson on November 1st. The price is 290 yen for a single piece and 5,800 yen for the box.
There are 36 types of cards in total, including 30 normal and 6 rare. The normal cards feature poster visuals from the 30 previous Japanese Godzilla films, from Godzilla (1954) to Godzilla-1.0 (2023). The rare cards feature popular monsters such as Godzilla, Mothra, and Hedorah on the front and an explanatory text on the back.
By scanning the QR code included with the wafers using a smartphone or other device, you will receive a digital photo frame (18 types in total) at random.
