The poster visual for "Witchy Pretty Cure!! ~MIRAI DAYS~", the sequel to the 13th installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "Maho Girls PreCure!", has been released. It features Cure Miracle, Cure Magical, Cure Felice, and Mofurun.
A special event, "Miracle Screening to Commemorate the Broadcast of 'Maho Girls PreCure!! ~MIRAI DAYS~'", will be held at Shinjuku Wald 9 (Shinjuku, Tokyo) on December 7th, and it has been revealed that the final 50th episode of "Maho Girls PreCure!" and parts of the sequel will be screened. Takahashi Rie, who plays Cure Miracle/Asahina Mirai, Horie Yui, who plays Cure Magical/Izayoi Riko, Hayami Saori, who plays Cure Felice/Hanaumi Kotoha, and Kitagawa Rie, who sings the opening theme song, will be in attendance.
As a new project to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the "PreCure" series, the series is producing anime aimed at "adults" so that the main audience at the time of broadcast, children aged 3 to 6, can continue to enjoy the series. As part of this, "Kibou no Chikara ~Otona PreCure '23~", which depicts the grown-up versions of Yumehara Nozomi and her friends from the fourth and fifth series, "Yes! PreCure 5" and "Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!", which aired from February 2007 to January 2009, will be broadcast on NHK Educational TV from October to December 2023. A sequel to "Maho Girls PreCure!" will also be broadcast as part of the same project. "Maho Girls PreCure!" aired from February 2016 to January 2017. The catchphrase is "Two time periods (futures) are now connected with the magic words 'Cure Up Rapapa!'" and the story is set in the magical world and the Nasimahou world (human world), depicting Mirai Asahina, Riko Izayoi, and Kotoha Hanaumi transforming into the "legendary magicians" Pretty Cure and doing their thing. It has been announced that Takahashi, Horie, Hayami, and Ayaka Saito will reprise their roles in the sequel. It will be broadcast on ABC TV/TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "ANiMAZiNG!!!" from 2am on January 11, 2025.
