A remastered version of "Promenade of Suspicion," an anime TV series based on Gosho Aoyama's popular manga, will air on October 26th (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Saturday 6pm). It is a remastered version of the episode that aired in May 2014.
While the Detective Boys are learning how to play frisbee from Shinpei Asakawa in the park, a dog jumps on Conan. The dog's owner is Shinpei's grandmother, Kanae Asakawa. Kanae takes Conan's jacket, which the dog has soiled, saying that she will return it clean. A few days later, when Conan and the others go to Kanae's house to get some clothes, Kanae's dog friend, Tomoko Hirota, arrives. After talking with Tomoko for a while, Conan strokes the dog's head as it sleeps soundly, but there is no sign of it waking up, no matter how hard he shakes it.
"Detective Conan" is a popular manga serialized by Aoyama in the manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan). It depicts elementary school detective Conan Edogawa solving difficult cases that occur one after another.
