◇Comment from Yuki Kaji, who plays Hyakuemon
Appearing in a "Crayon Shin-chan" movie is undoubtedly a big dream for many voice actors. Of course, I'm one of them, so I was really happy to be given this opportunity. In this age of increasing digitalization in various fields, the fear and longing for "intangible things" like ghosts and spirits are probably gradually fading for us...especially for children. I hope that through this film, you will enjoy seeing them as "familiar presences" in a good way. Shin-chan's humor will save the world! I'm also thinking of taking my daughter to the movie theater.
◇Comment from Aya Endo, who plays the role of Mameta
I played Mameta, a tanuki (raccoon dog) yokai with a leaf on his head. Mameta is a little timid, but just like Shin-chan, he loves his hometown and his friends. I was touched many times by his efforts with his important friends and new friends! My favorite scene is when Mameta meets Shin-chan. I really like it because it reminds me of myself when I held the script for "Crayon Shin-chan chan: Mysterious and Mysterious! My Yokai Vacation." Please come to the movie theater for this strange and nostalgic experience!
◇Comment from Hiro Shimono, who plays the role of Karakura
Another dream has come true for me, as I'll be appearing in a "Crayon Shin-chan" movie, something I've only ever watched from the sidelines! This time, the theme is yokai (Japanese spirits/monsters), and I'll be playing Karakura, a boy who's a Karakasa ghost. As someone who actually loves ghosts and yokai, I'm really looking forward to the screening in many ways! What kind of vacation will Shin-chan and his friends have this time, and what kind of trouble will they get into...? Please be sure to see it in theaters!
◇Comment from Inori Minase, who plays Pinko
I read the script with excitement and anticipation, and sometimes even shed tears, as it's a story about yokai (supernatural beings) that's perfect for the hot summer. During recording, I was overwhelmed by everyone's acting, and there were moments when I found myself in a daze. The character I play, Pinko, is a girl based on Amabie! Humans and yokai may have different species and customs, but their hearts are the same. Please pay attention to the growth of each character that comes from their encounters with Shin-chan and his friends! I think this is a movie that will make you want to go home and reminisce more than ever this summer. Please come to the theater with your precious memories with your loved ones in your heart!
◇Comment from Shunsuke Sakino, who plays the role of Kumada's leader
Cumulonimbus clouds, the sound of cicadas, watermelon, barley tea, somen noodles, the scent of grass, sudden showers, mosquito coils, fireworks, mosquito nets, and scary stories. Walking down a dark street at night, it feels like something is lurking nearby, but it's not something frightening... I will be playing the leader of the land of yokai, the leader of Kumada. Summer vacation, which seems so long but ends in the blink of an eye, awaits you in the cool theater.
◇Comment from Mikako Komatsu, who plays the role of Tsuchiko
I've been watching Crayon Shin-chan-chan since I was a child. As a child, I was on Shin-chan's side, but now I'm a mom, and at the time of recording, my own child was around the same age as Himawari, so before I knew it, I was following the story from Misae's perspective. The character I play this time, Tsuchiko, is another quirky yokai, but when it's time to make a move, she makes it with a "Tsuchiri!" I had a lot of fun playing the role. On the other hand, as a viewer myself, there were also scenes that brought me to tears...! Yokai and Shin-chan. What a theme with such high affinity! For a wonderful summer memory, please enjoy!
◇Comment from Setsuji Sato, who plays the role of Captain Kapparapa
I'm Setsuji Sato, and I played the role of Captain Kapparapa. The name is great, isn't it? (laughs) It's easy to tell what kind of person he is just from the name (laughs). During recording, I was amazed by the incredible acting and creativity of my seniors, and I thought these people must be real yokai (laughs). In this movie, Shin-chan's gags are brilliant, and you'll be moved by the bonds of the Nohara family and their friendship with the yokai. It's a very touching film that will make adults feel nostalgic and children feel new and excited! Kapparapa also gave it his all, so please come to the theater and have your heart stolen!
