NHK's late-night drama "Radio Star" (NHK General, Monday-Thursday 10:45 PM), starring actress Momoko Fukuchi, will be featured on NHK's program "Doyo Star" (NHK General, Saturday 1:50 PM) on April 11th. Masahiro Kohmoto, who plays Kosuke Matsumoto, the founder of the radio station in "Radio Star," and Shoma Kai, who plays former comedian Rikuto Umino, will appear as guests.
"Radio Star" is a nonstop entertainment drama set in Noto, depicting how ordinary citizens become stars.
On this episode of "Doyo Studio," we'll hear from the "Kou-Kou duo" Kohmoto and Kai about behind-the-scenes stories from filming and their thoughts on Noto. The second half will focus on their lives. Kohmoto will look back on memorable scenes from the 2023 Taiga drama "What to Do Ieyasu," and we'll also get a rare glimpse of Kai, who is also very popular as a stage actor.
The program will also feature interviews with Fukuchi, Takako Tokiwa, and Wentz Eiji. There will also be a special surprise.
