It has been announced that an illustration card of Gigi Andalusia -Uluru Ver.- will be distributed starting April 17th as a gift for moviegoers during the 12th and 13th weeks of the second chapter of the theatrical anime "Mobile Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" (directed by Shuko Murase), "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash: The Witch of Circe". The illustration card features Gigi in the memorable yellow dress seen in the final scene.
It was also announced that a talk show featuring the production staff will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo) on April 21st, with cinematographer Yoshihisa Oyama, art director Kinichi Okubo, producer Keisuke Kasai, and setting designer Risuke Akiyama in attendance.
"Hathaway's Flash" is based on a novel published between 1989 and 1990 by director Yoshiyuki Tomino, known as the "creator" of the "Gundam" series. Set in Universal Century 0105, the story follows Hathaway, the son of Bright Noa, who experienced a bitter separation during the Second Neo Zeon War, as he pilots the new mobile suit XI Gundam and rebels against the Earth Federation government.
The anime was announced to consist of three chapters, with the first chapter released in June 2021. The second chapter has been a hit, grossing over 2.5 billion yen and attracting over 1.48 million viewers in just 48 days since its release on January 30th.
