The ninth episode of the TBS Sunday drama "Reboot," starring Ryohei Suzuki, aired on March 22nd (Sundays at 9 PM). A line from the still mysterious third episode (aired February 1st) has become a hot topic on social media.
◇The following contains spoilers.
In episode 9, cornered, Hayase (Suzuki) and Natsumi (Toda Erika) went to Makita (Ito Hideaki) and asked for his cooperation.
However, when Natsumi visits Goroku's (Yukiya Kitamura) shop, she finds Makita there and coldly laughs, saying, "Well, as you can see, I was one of us all along." Her brother, Yaichi Makita (Danjuro Ichikawa), sneers, "I'm glad I put you on guard inside the police station."
Hayase, on the other hand, tried to win over Fuyuhashi (Ren Nagase), but was caught by Kiriya (Ryoka Fujisawa), and the episode ended with both husband and wife in a desperate situation.
With only the final episode remaining, the third episode featured a scene in which Adachi (played by Aju Makita), one of Gido's subordinates, reports, "We've received a tip that a man who looks exactly like Riku Hayase is living and working at a transportation company in Kisarazu City. We used to get a lot of these when we first started the public investigation, but it's been a while since we've seen this."
Comments on social media include: "Isn't that some kind of foreshadowing?", "What's been bothering me is the man who looks exactly like Hayase Riku working at the Kisarazu transportation company", and "Does this mean there's someone who's a reboot of Hayase Riku?"
