Mogami Moga, a former member of the idol group "Dempagumi.inc," appeared on Abema's variety show "Ai no Hyena Season 5" on January 27th. She spoke frankly about how she became a single mother and her thoughts on marriage.
The program that day featured a polygamous family of Japanese men living in Malaysia, and while watching the footage in the studio, participants discussed topics such as "marriage and family" and "romantic hell."
Mogami, who is a single mother raising a 4-year-old daughter, commented after watching a video of a polygamous family, "I understand that it's better to have a larger family." She candidly revealed how she became a single mother, saying, "I was simply dumped."
"I wanted children, and we talked about getting married once we had children. But when we actually had children, he said, 'Maybe it's not possible after all,'" she confessed. Looking back on her feelings at the time, she said, "I was extremely depressed."
In the midst of all this, her mother encouraged her by saying, "I'll support you, so will you do your best?" and "It'll be fine," so she decided to move forward as a single mother. However, she frankly confessed, "I still want to expand our family a little more. I really want to have a second child."
