The ninth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "The Royal Family" (Sundays at 9:00 PM), starring Satoshi Tsumabuki, was broadcast on December 7th. The behavior of jockey Saki Ryujiro (Takasugi Mahiro) towards Nozaki Shohei (Ichihara Shogo) became a hot topic among viewers.

Shohei, who replaced Saki as the jockey for Royal Family, fell off his horse and broke a bone in the Autumn Tenno Sho. He returned to racing a month earlier than planned, but was unable to place in any of the races he rode after that, and he felt anxious, thinking, "There's no point unless I win."
One day, Shohei visited Saki. "I just can't figure it out. How can I go back to my old self? I know I'm not in a position to ask for your advice, Ryujiro," he said, bowing his head and asking for Saki's advice.
"It's no use. You'll never go back to the way you were, so give up," Saki said bluntly, and turned to leave. Shohei immediately responded with a strong determination, "I won't give up! I became a jockey to win the Arima Kinen Race. I won't give up!"
"Who told you to give up on winning?" Saki muttered. He clicked his tongue and gave her some advice: "Start by changing the position of your stirrups. Your old form is gone. Find a new you."
