Actor Jiro Takada will appear on BS12 TwellV's program "Tsurube-chan and Sawako-chan: A Showa-era Senior and the Odd Couple," which will air from 9 p.m. on December 8th. The show features guests each time, including two "Showa era greats" who call Tsurube Shofutei, who has 53 years of experience in the entertainment industry, and Sawako Agawa, who has 42 years of experience, "Tsurube-chan" and "Sawako-chan."
This will be his first time acting with Tsurube in 34 years, and he will also share anecdotes that reveal the unconventional nature of Tsurube's master, the 6th Shofutei Matsukaku. He will also talk about how he met his wife, Hattori Fumiko, and the inspiration behind his move to Shochiku Shinkigeki, Fujiyama Kanbi, and senior actor Nanto Yuji.
