The successful candidates for the "Miss Seventeen 2025" model audition, an exclusive competition for the teen media magazine "Seventeen" (Shueisha), were announced on October 18th. The six successful candidates, Miku Okamoto (14), Kanna Kajiwara (16), Suiko Kawase (13), Miron Sasaki (15), Hanano Hanano Harada(15), and Maho Horiguchi(17), appeared at the fashion and music event "Rakuten GirlsAward 2025 AUTUMN/WINTER" held at Makuhari Messe (Mihama Ward, Chiba City) on the same day.
Kajiwara is the eldest daughter of comedian Yuta Kajiwara, who is also active as a popular YouTuber under the name "Kazisac," and is also active as an actor. "I am filled with gratitude for finally being able to become a Seventeen model, which was my dream. I will spare no effort to live up to the expectations of those who support me, and I aim to become a model that everyone will say, 'I look up to!'" she commented.
Horiguchi is currently attracting attention for her role as the heroine Nemu in the TV Asahi series "Kamen Rider Zeztz."
"Miss Seventeen" is an audition that has produced such names as Keiko Kitagawa, Suzu Hirose, and Ayami Nakajo. This year, six people were selected from a total of 2,783 applicants.
