86-year-old illustrator and painter Seitaro Kuroda will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will be broadcast at 1:00 p.m. on October 1st.
Kuroda says he has always painted what he likes without being bound by anything. He has held over 1,000 live painting events and enjoys combining painting with music. He requested to paint a picture together with Kuroyanagi, and the two of them will work together on a painting project. A variety of works will also be on display in the studio.
Born in Osaka and raised in Hyogo, he was in the first grade at elementary school when the war ended. He says he still can't forget watching the Great Osaka Air Raid from the mountains of Kobe.
