It has been announced that Kyoto Animation's new work for 2026 will be announced at the fan appreciation event, "The 7th Kyoto Animation Fan Appreciation Event: We Are Now!! - Kyoto Animation's World Exhibition." The announcement will be made at the stage event, "Kyoto Animation 2026 New Work Announcement Stage," which will be held from 2:00 PM on October 25th. The main cast and staff of the new work will be appearing on stage. Kyoto Animation has already announced that it will release " Sound! Euphonium: The Final Chapter" in 2026, but it will also announce a new title that has not yet been announced.
The event will be held on October 25th and 26th at the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Promotion Hall Miyako Messe (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City). Over 1,000 materials will be on display, including the original hand-drawn drawings actually used in the anime, as well as background art, color design, CG, and cinematography. The special stage will feature special programs such as behind-the-scenes talks between creators from different works, and cross-talks between the cast and production staff.
A special concert featuring five works from the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid series, Sound! Euphonium series, Free! series, Tsurune series, and Violet Evergarden series will also be held on both days.
It was also announced that a "Thank You! Message Book" containing over 150 messages from Kyoto Animation staff would be distributed as a gift to attendees.
